What is included in the price eg Does the price include gas, electric and towels?

Yes the price includes gas, electric and wifi.

Each guest is provided with a bath and hand towel and a pair of slippers.

Guests are provided with some tea towels, apron, oven gloves and a starter pack of dishwasher tablets.

Each bathroom is equipped with one toilet roll for arrival.

From October to March the fire in the lounge is set up ready to use but guests are required to purchase their own coal for subsequent use.  Please note that due to the size of the flue logs should not be used.

 

Is the property available for short breaks?

Midweek breaks (Monday 4pm – Friday 10am) and long weekends (Friday 4pm-Monday 10am) are available at certain times of year. At peak times, only full weeks are available, but we will try to be flexible.

 

When is the changeover day?

The normal changeover day for weekly bookings is Friday. For Christmas and New Year bookings the changeover days move depending when Christmas falls.

 

Will you accept well behaved dogs?

Sorry the property is not suitable for pets.  Some of our guests have allergies and choose Bracken Howe because it does not accept pets.

 

What time can we access the house and what time do we need to depart?

Guests can access the house from 4pm on the date of arrival and must depart by 10am on the departure day.

 

How do we access the house?

6 weeks prior to arrival you will be sent directions and the access code for the key safe.
