We (Ben & Laura) respect your privacy. We don’t want to sell or share your data, and we only collect information that’s necessary to manage your booking or respond to your enquiry.
Information we collect
We’ll use the contact details you provide to us (such as your name, email address or phone number) to get in touch with you about your booking or enquiry. When you book, we ask you to complete an online Guest Registration Form. This collects personal details including your name, address, contact details, arrival information, and bank account details (solely for the purpose of returning your housekeeping bond after your stay).
How and why we use your data
We process your personal data because it’s necessary to enter into or perform our contract with you, and to meet our legal obligations (such as financial record-keeping). We will not use your personal data for any other purpose. Your bank details are used only to return your housekeeping bond and are not used or stored for any other purpose.
Where and how your data is stored
Your registration data is collected through a secure web form and stored in Supabase, a cloud database service. Data held in Supabase is encrypted at rest and in transit. Our booking tools are hosted on Netlify. Access to your data is restricted to Ben & Laura only. No-one else will be given access except as needed to provide our services to you.

International transfers
Some of the services we use (including Netlify and Supabase) may store or process data outside the UK/EU, including in the United States. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place (such as standard contractual clauses) to protect your information.
How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary to manage your booking and meet legal or tax requirements. We delete any stored information about you within 24 months of your departure.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law, you have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request corrections to your data
• Ask us to delete your data when it’s no longer needed
• Object to or restrict our processing of your data.
